About

My current training as a scholar at California Institute of Integral Studies includes engaging in innovative research in combination with rigorous scholarship, creativity, and self-inquiry. I’ve developed the capacity to engage in inquiry as a creative and collaborative process in the context of a community of learners. I have learned that ‘inquiry’ as a process can lead to personal and social transformation as well as insight. At this point, I’m in the process of researching the benefits of Brain Machine Interfaces and the future of the cyborg. What makes my training special, is that it is inquiry-driven; hence, the transdisciplinary nature of my research process. I’ve been exposed to a plurality of perspectives in an effort to learn how to connect and contextualize divergent epistemologies and ontologies in a coherent fashion.

Prior to pursuing my PhD, I developed an impressive record of achievement spanning 15 years of service in the Information Technology sector. I’ve managed departments, high-visibility projects, and IT professionals. My roles have included Manager of Database Systems, IT Consultant/Project Manager, Lead Technology Specialist, and Database Engineer. I’ve designed and implemented multiple mission-critical projects, particularly database and disaster recovery for enterprise resources.
